We had no big plans for today. Then the magic words "Does the water filter need changing" followed by a discussion on whether we changed it last last time. So I went to look in the kitchen for replacements.

What I found was my wheat-filled lavender bag in one of the wall cupboards ................. full of ants!! So that was were the spider was getting his supply from!
So we cleared out the cupboard; disposed of the lavender bag; and washed it all out. But maybe some had got behind the fridge freezer !! So we pulled out the firidge freezer and cleaned the back of it, the floor and the tiles. Well, the microwave sits on top of the fridge freezer so thought we might as well clean that out too. And if you have wiped down some of the kitchen tiles you should do all the others too. Never did find the replacement filters for the water jug !!
Other than that burst of madness we have done little. Ian watched the Grand Prix from Valencia and I have pottered, doing a little light housework !

We thought we may go for a walk but it was still so hot at half past eight that we opened a bottle of wine instead 
and watched the sun set.
